What the badge means
Fewer dead ends. More confidence in who you find.
A verified badge means we confirmed the requester’s authority, a working business contact channel, evidence that the business is operating, and the trust claims shown on its profile where applicable.
It is not a paid endorsement. It does not guarantee service quality, financial standing, legal compliance or the outcome of a transaction. Customers should still make checks appropriate to their decision.
The four checks
What InfoZambia confirms.
Authority
The requester’s identity and authority to represent the business.
Contact
At least one published business contact channel works and belongs to the business.
Operating status
Reliable evidence indicates that the business is currently trading or operating.
Profile claims
Registration, tax, licence and similar trust claims are checked where they are displayed.
The process
From accurate profile to verified badge.

Complete the business profile
Make sure its name, contact details, location and public claims are accurate and current.

Request verification
The profile owner requests review from the Business Dashboard. The business must already be published.

Provide evidence securely
We contact the requester if documents or clarification are needed. Sensitive evidence should only be provided through the secure method specified by InfoZambia.

InfoZambia completes the checks
A reviewer records every required check. If something is missing, the request returns for more evidence rather than being approved automatically.

Badge awarded and renewed
The badge appears after approval and remains valid for 12 months. The business must renew verification to keep it current.

Payment changes support—not the decision.

Eligible for the standard verification queue at no charge.
Growth
Receives priority review. Every evidence check still has to pass.
Elite
Receives priority assisted review. The badge is still never guaranteed by payment.
