The history of Grovenor Resources Zambia Limited starts with the first base metals mining operations set up in the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2006 by Mr. John Kalenga and his investment partners. The partners formed M&J Investments SPRL (M&J) in DR Congo in a bid to acquire mining concessions for identified opportunities for Copper and Cobalt.
The partners had previously engaged in trading activities of these metals from DR Congo.
MAXIMISE VALUE OF EXISTING OPERATIONS
Grevenor Resources Zambia Limited has a Prospecting Permit for Gold, Tin and Tantalum in Kalomo, in the southern part of Zambia. The company has also aquired a 10 hectare plot of land on the main trunk road to Kabwe where construction has commenced for a storage and logistical warehouse for processed metal ores and concentrates.
HIGH PERFORMANCE CULTURE
Development of a personnel camp and equipment service workshop was then completed at Nimure Hill. The company recruited qulified professionals and more than 150 employees from the DRC, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa for its operations.
